As such, it is customary to fly the American flag in an appropriate manner.
Sweet Home Alabama indeed. As you were.

Aren’t flags supposed to be on a pole? If she’s 21 or older, I have one I can loan her for about 3 minutes. I’m just sayin’….

The lovely young lady shows her patriotism quite nicely, in my opinion.
By the way, Wyatt, thanks for reminding me it’s Flag Day. The Stars & Stripes are flying outside my home.

Pity such an important and noble symbol is misused. Where did respect for the flag go?
signed an old codger.
P.S.
Saturday was the Queen’s Official Birthday (don’t ask me to explain) and traditionally the Queen takes part in the Trooping of the Colour with her Guards regiments.
Magnificent as usual. Massed bands awesome, especially with the spin wheel – a manouvre only ever done by these bands. At one stage every single bandsman is doing something different yet they turn en masse in a tight space.
(spin wheel between just before 9:00 & end)
There is still a place for tradition and respect for the symbols of a country. In your country. primarily The Flag, in mine, the Queen. God bless her.

With the professionalism in both our armies I’m glad we didn’t continue on the wrong foot.

BobG – Well “part” of me is saluting. Heh.
Admiral – Sorry bout that.
Morgan – You’re welcome. Our entire neighborhood has the colors flying.
Alan B – She sure is a tough ol’ gal. (With respect, of course.)
Dorkelina – “Hoo-Ah!”
