New York Democrat Utters The N-Word
By Wyatt Earp | July 21, 2009
Oh. My. GOD!!! Let’s run her out of office on a rail! Let’s burn her visage in effigy!! Let’s march on Albany!!!
Okay, this may shock you, but I don’t think this is a big deal. The woman said it one freakin’ time during an interview, and she did not say it in an offensive context. And for the record, if this exact situation happened to a Republican politician, I would write the same thing.
New York Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a Democrat, apologized Monday for using the N-word in a recent interview while recounting a phone call she had received.
“I apologize for having repeated a word I find disgusting,” Maloney said in a statement. “It’s no excuse but I was so caught up in relaying the story exactly as it was told to me that, in doing so, I repeated a word that should never be repeated.”
Maloney, who is challenging Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand for the 2010 Democratic Senate nomination in New York, used the full racial slur in an interview with the Web site City Hall while taking aim at Gillibrand’s record.
“The full racial slur.” Are you kidding me?
“I got a call from someone from Puerto Rico, said [Gillibrand] went to Puerto Rico and came out for English-only [education]. And he said, ‘It was like saying n—r to a Puerto Rican,’” Maloney said. “I don’t know-I don’t know if that’s true or not. I just called. I’m just throwing that out. All of her-well, what does she stand for?”
Naturally, the token scumbag came out from under his rock to cry “RACISSSSST!”
Earlier Monday, the Rev. Al Sharpton — a supporter of Gillibrand’s bid — sharply criticized Maloney for using the word. (H/T – CNN)
Give it a rest, Al. No one gives a rat’s ass what you think.
Come to think of it, the N-word would be entirely appropriate when describing Al Sharpton. I’m just sayin’.

Old NFO – Hey, even liberals use the word. Good to know.
Doghouse – I hope not. No one wants to see Maloney sans clothing!

This is just asking for trouble especially being a politician. If anything she should have simply played the audio of the call and let it stand as is if she really wanted to do damage to Gillibrand’s campaign.
By quoting verbatim she set herself up to be the person making the claim.
Did Maloney not learn from Boxer’s mistake?
We could have had a real cat fight if Maloney didn’t go there with the race card. Damnit!
