Weighin’ Me Down
By Wyatt Earp | July 12, 2009
Well, today is the first official weigh-in for this round of dieting, and I came into it with a pretty good feeling. I went cycling (6 miles a day) nearly every day this week, and made my Weight Watchers points six out of seven days. Not perfect, but not bad, either. I started this new round weighing in at 208 pounds. Today, I stepped on the scale, and this is what I saw:
Boo yah! That’s a three pound loss in a week! It’s probably a lot of water weight, but it’s a start.
The other good news is that I now have a partner in the battle against bubbling fat. Mrs. Earp is officially on the diet wagon, and I’ll be posting her progress every week, starting next Sunday. Wish her luck.

This morning I was 205.2 pounds and did nothing all day to lose any more, I wish you more discipline than I have, although the day was lovely. About posting your wife’s numbers, don’t, just tell us she is succeeding or struggling but the numbers don’t count as much as your support. Have at them pounds, but remember it is for better health for more family happiness – it ain’t about the number.

RT – Thanks. If I can get below 190, that would be awesome. I haven’t been that low since the police academy.
Rick – Thank you.
Earl – Not posting her weight, but she wants me to post her losses every week for motivational reasons.

Good Luck to both of you. It is a hard thing to do and with young kids the Mrs. isn’t going to have much energy!
