Philadelphia Eagles Sign Michael Vick

Bawahahahahahahaha! Thank God I hate the Eagles – and most Eagles fans – otherwise, I would be pretty pissed off right now.
Michael Vick is back in the NFL, landing a job with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Come on, let’s hear it from all of you Stepford Eagles fans out there. Tell me how this is a great move. Bawahahahahahahaha!
“He signed with the Eagles,” agent Joel Segal told The Associated Press in a telephone interview Thursday. He said it was a two-year deal.
Vick, once the NFL’s highest-paid player, has not played since 2006. The former Atlanta Falcons quarterback was convicted in August 2007 of conspiracy and running a dogfighting operation, and served 18 of a 23-month sentence in federal prison. He also was suspended indefinitely by the NFL. (H/T – CBS3)
It’s good to know that the Eagles want to be just like the Cincinnati Bengals – a team chock full o’ thugs. I hope they lose every game this year.

Only problem I have with that picture is that Michael isn’t bloody enough and still has all his limbs. And I’m suprised he didn’t end up in Oakland or Cinci with the rest of the felons.
Earlier this year I shocked the absolute hell out of my family and friends, lifelong loyal Chiefs fans all, when I proclaimed that if KC hired Vick I’d switch my football allegiance to the hated Broncos out of sheer spite. Fortunately the Chiefs decided to go with Matt Cassel, instead.
I’ll bet when the Iggles go on the road this year, the PA guys at opposing stadiums are going to have a lot of fun with Vick with songs like “Who Let the Dogs Out?” and Inner Circle’s “Bad Boys” and the old George Clinton hit “Atomic Dog.”

When he throws a pass will he scream..fetch!! He probably thinks Hamlet is a Great Dane. I pray he doesn’t tell anyone in the huddle to..Go outside! The daschhunds will come out when he has to ..go long. Will he still attend the yearly..running of the pit bulls? What is vicks favorite breed? Portugese water ‘torture’ dog.
I hope this guy goes camping some day and gets eaten by a pack of wolves..pah tooie!!

Oh well: At least I can always root for the Vikings – where Jared Allen went after Carl Peterson ran him out of town – and Tony Gonzalez is now with Atlanta. So if AFC West football gets too stinky this year, I do have options…

I predict a real growth industry making Mike Vick dog biscuits. My dogs would love to have a bunch, wouldn’t yours?
As long as you don’t put in couple Obama biscuits in every box, it wouldn’t be racist. (But it would be fun(ny), in some circles.) Maybe a couple Andy Reid’s wouldn’t hurt just to keep the Southern Poverty Law Center off your case.
