Soldier Arrested Over Plot To Attack Ft. Hood

Private Nasser Jason Abdo, a man who applied for conscientious objector status just before he was to be shipped out to Afghanistan, has been arrested in connection with a plot to attack Fort Hood. You may remember Fort Hood as the installation where another Muslim piece of garbage named Nidal Malik Hassan killed 13 people and wounded 30 more. Thankfully, Abdo was arrested before he could do any harm.
Pvt. Nasser Jason Abdo, an AWOL soldier from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, was arrested by the Killeen Police Department near Fort Hood and remains in custody there. Authorities, however, will not say if Abdo is the one who raised security concerns.
Abdo was found with weapons and explosives at the time of his arrest, a senior Army source confirms to Fox News. He was arrested at around 2 p.m. Wednesday after someone called authorities to report a suspicious individual. Eric Vasys, a spokesman with the FBI’s San Antonio Office, said authorities found firearms and bomb making components, which he described as smokeless gun powder, inside Abdo’s motel room.

Abdo, a quality individual, was also being investigated for having child pornography on his government computer. Even so, a man of such questionable character was still given all the perks due to someone who is the victim of constant “religious oppression.” To wit:
On the eve of his first deployment to Afghanistan – after only one year in the Army – Abdo applied for conscientious objector status. It was denied by his superiors at Ft. Campbell but later overturned by the Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Army review board.
I’ll say this and feel free to attack me for it: political correctness is destroying the U.S. military from within. Hassan sent up a bunch of red flags before his attack; flags that were ignored by the Army brass. Then Abdo applied as a conscientious objector, and the Army review board granted that request for only one reason: because they were afraid of being called Islamophobic. How’d that turn out for you, guys? Hell, only as far back as a decade ago the Army would have told him to get bent. Now, they’re bending over backwards for him. It’s a disgrace.
It’s bad enough that our servicemen and women have to worry about enemy attacks. Now they have to worry about attacks from within. What the hell is happening to this country?

How can you be a conscientious objector in a volunteer army? And his rank is Private. Unless he’s been stuck at E-2 for over a decade, I think he’s a fairly new recruit and he knew where he’d likely go when he enlisted.

There’s a word for conscientious objectors in an all-volunteer military. They’re called civilians. If you don’t want to fight, don’t join. And as far as this guy saying he can’t fight in Afghanistan because he’s a Muslim, I call bullsh*t. The Afghan military is filled with Muslims, and they have no religious qualms about fighting militant Muslim terrorists. It’s not like they’re the Amish, for crying out loud.

It’s been going on for a couple of decades now. It’ll only get worse with the repeal of DADT. And if this abomination comes to pass, expect a mass exodus of quality people from the military.

So, once the regular military is rendered ineffective, there’s the Discount Messiah’s justification for… what did he say? Oh, yeah:
“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

Maybe there should be a new class of Felony FAIL Laws, this kids case in point. If you join the all volunteer army
while ‘you are’ a contientious objector you get to be a non combat medic, or an office pokey or mechanic etc. like in WW2, but if you join then get your orders for combat and then suddenly you become an objector…Felony FAIL!
I do not advocate the killing of your enemies children as Anders Breivik did, so with that said, it was with some amusement that I read about Glenn Beck’s getting into trouble by mentioning it may have been similar to a Hitler Youth type of camp. The Lib media is going into indignant overdrive…then…pictures emerge of the kids holding ‘boycott israel’ signs for visiting government officials to see, now makes me wonder if he wasn’t on to something

This piece of shit was supposed to deploy same time as Sgt. Bones- same brigade. They delayed the scumbag’s discharge because they caught him with child pornography- but then they LET HIM WALK OFF POST over the 4th of July.
All I can say is I’m really glad that they picked the little bastard up. It’s plain to see that this kid is not an “objector” at all, but a terrorist (though thankfully an inept one).
Also, there are no non-combat jobs in the Army anymore. Anyone who joins and claims CO status should be charged with fraud for attempting to enlist. Join the Peace Corps if you’re a sissy.

Perverts are not a protected class, and anything else in his life that might make him a minority should be tossed out the window immediately once that kind of behavior is discovered. If this (insert vulgar noun here) found a way to view pics of little kids on a gov’t computer that should have been enough to keep him from wandering the streets for a very, very long time. So somehow he failed to make the connection between “Muslim” and “I’m in the military and may be deployed overseas in the Middle East”?
